How long does it take to develop a website?

Generally, the average basic design and development project takes 2 to 4 weeks. Some projects may require a couple of months if the client's project is very technical.

Can I make changes to my site after the work is completed and how do I make those changes?

Yes, changes can be made to the website by Yuraki or by the client using the provided content management system. All clients are given access to a user-friendly content management system that allows real-time changes to be made to sites. Clients may also opt for a management agreement where site updates are assigned to a developer on the team.

Are websites developed by you compatible with all web browsers?

Yes, all websites are developed to be W3c compliant and take into consideration all major web browsers, their requirements and variations. Functionality and accurate presentation is guaranteed across all major browsers for all projects.

Can I choose you to design my website and use my own web hosting?

Yes, you may use a different web hosting provider and we will upload the completed website for you. You would need to provide your ftp server or web host control panel details and username and password.

What information is required of the client before any web development project commences?

Initially, the Yuraki team will meet with prospective clients to ascertain all needs, grasp a clear understanding of the clients' business and goals, then provide feedback regarding all elements that will be required to make the project a success.

Generally information relating to products/services, company history, employee profiles, contact details, pictures of products/employees and any marketing material. To assist with the process a questionnaire is provided to ascertain any relevant details.

Are websites developed by Creative Engine Jamaica secure against hackers and other malicious threats?

Yes, all sites developed by Yuraki are secured based on the prevailing web and software standards at the time of development. Sites will have the ability to easily integrate future security updates and fixes.

What is the difference between Web Design & Web Development?

The terms web design and web development are often used interchangeably. However, there are distinct differences.

Web design is the process of designing the web site's layout which often includes all graphical elements that will make the site visually appealing. This process aims to achieve goals relating to the clients' image.

Web Development describes the programming that is required to make the website functional, interactive and constructs the "back end." The back end is not seen by visitors and provides the framework for maintaining functionality and security.
